I want to wish you a very happy new year. 

I think you are wonderful. Thank you for visiting my blog, commenting on my posts and for being a follower. I haven't been blogging for a long time yet, but now I wouldn't want to miss it, and especially you, for the world! You, as a visitor and/or follower, are an inspiration for me and I am very grateful for that.

Sketchbook Project

Yes! I finally got myself together and feel ready draw my story in the real sketchbook for The Sketchbook project! To be safe, I started out in pencil, but the final drawings will be in bic-pen. Here's one of the pages....

I'm excited, it's really fun to work on the final product for the project!

The Sketchbook Project

I'm happy to be focussing again on my drawings for The Sketchbook Project and to share it with you.

Right now, I'm not working on the story chronologically. When I'm done and the sketchbook is filled and finished, I will upload all the pages before sending it out to arthousecoop. If you're curious, stay tuned!

You might be wondering why there's a roll of toiletpaper on the left. Well... that's because of these guys on the left page:

 

 These sketches aren't done in THE sketchbook yet, but I'm almost ready to make the final drawings.

Illustration Friday - Sink

I missed last week's illustration friday, but I'm happy to be a bit earlier submitting for it this week. The topic is 'Sink'. I'm working on a story, actually it's for 'the sketchbook project'. This one was drawn in bic-pen, and afterwards digitally coloured. You'll see more of this sketchy story in bic-pen soon!

Last weekend I worked at this small painting for a friend. It will be a gift for a nursery room.

First I made a drawing with colored pens. I think I like the drawing even better.

Recipe / Illustration Friday - Round

Okay, I'll admit immediatley I made this illustration to submit on They Draw And Cook, and not for Illustration Friday, but you know what? I'll have another round of cheesecake!

Although I try out all sorts of materials to work with, and I love lots of different techniques, I think drawing in Pencil is my favorite technique.

 

Today I passed one of the motordriving tests : vehicle skills. Phew, I'm so relieved.
