Sharing inspiration - Lisa Congdon

Today I'd like to show you some of my favourite work by Lisa Congdon.
She's an amazing self taught artist from San Fransisco. She makes paintings, drawings, illustrations, post card designs and pattern designs. Her work and talent are very versatile, and I love visiting her blog.

I love her use of colours:

...and the vintage feel she sometimes puts in her work

She has this project 'the constructionists'; of wonderful illustrated quotes and portraits:

I love how she dresses people in colourful patterns:

...and animals too :)

Her hand lettering is amazing:

Who wouldn't want a postcard like this in the mail:

...or sleep in a bed made with these covers!

You can find Lisa's her work on her website and blog, there are also videos to watch which show that Lisa isn't just a great artist, she also seems like a very nice person!
